➡️Zeta Rho sorority- is painting all the poles around the pool thunder court and Pickleball court

➡️Tau Omega sorority- is cleaning up from the north side at the swimming pool, Pickleball court, thunder court to the entry of the rodeo arena gate

➡️Boise City senior class of ‘25- project and location to be determined

Centennial Cleanup: Let's Beautify Our Community Together!

Hey there, fellow residents! As we gear up for our town's 100th birthday celebration, let's show our community spirit by sprucing up our homes and properties. 🧹✨

A clean neighborhood not only looks great but also creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. So, let's roll up our sleeves and get to work! 🌱

Here are a few easy ways to pitch in:

Trash Talk: Pick up any litter you see around your home and neighborhood. 🗑️
Old Car Goodbye: If you have an abandoned vehicle, donate it or have it properly disposed of. 🚗
Furniture Finds a New Home: Donate gently used furniture to local charities. 🛋️
Lawn Love: Mow your lawn, trim hedges, and weed your flower beds. 🌷
Curb Appeal: Sweep your sidewalks and make sure your home's exterior is clean and inviting. 🏡

Remember, every little bit helps! By working together, we can create a beautiful and welcoming community for everyone to enjoy during our centennial celebration. Let's show our town pride and make this a year to remember! 🎉

The Chamber of Commerce started a community clean-up initiative and we are inviting the citizens to join us in the effort. We remove abandoned, dangerous, or condemned structures around town. We have assembled a group of volunteers who are willing to put forth their time, machinery, and effort to get this endeavor started. Now we are reaching out to the community for additional guidance, support, concerns, insight, and of course, manpower to further help us reach the goal of a cleaner, nicer, more welcoming community.

Things needed from the community: ideas of properties needing attention; permission from property owners; machine and labor commitments What the chamber has completed as of now: verbal commitments from a handful of volunteers offering equipment and time; commitments from owners for several properties to be reformed; a destination for the rubble to be hauled

The chamber does not request any kind of title transfer or fee to be paid, but of course donations are accepted and would be used for fuel, repairs, etc. Details of clean-up will be worked out with property owners on a case-by-case basis.

Caboose

We haven’t provided a Beautify Boise City update in awhile so here it is. We have completed 31 of 36 properties that have been signed up. Also, we recently purchased a used dump trailer, thanks to the community’s generous donations, to haul scrap metal to Dalhart and have gotten 5 loads towed away to date. We will gladly accept additional properties if you are a property owner and would like a delapidated building or house removed. We thank you all for the continued support and of course appreciate the time and effort our volunteers put into this project!

On October 10, on the square, Cimarron County Chamber of Commerce officers and members, Kim Mizer, Steve and Kathy Parker, John and Rita Smith, and representing TCEC, Leslie Kraich began restoring the caboose with the first coat of paint. #redcaboose
